I think I might create a deviant art account again. It's not as active anymore but it's unbelievable the amount of helpful resources on that site now that I'm looking through it again.

>Good stock images to use for references
>Good brushes that you can't find anywhere else
>Decent tutorials to at least learn nice rendering tricks even if a lot of the anatomy tutorials leave a lot to be desired.

I know Tumblr has a lot of this shit too but the deviantart interface feels easier to use to search for resources. Also the community seems pretty chill.

why is this site so bad now? you go to the hot page and it's all furry shit/lewd anime titties/shit art that teenage girls get to the hot page. feels like good artists are few and far between now, and every 8 year old thinks they're an artist. any good alternatives these days?
