Look at 2/3rds perspective face reference.

You have a habit of wanting an equal-sized left and right side of the face across the nose, despite a tilted head angle, which violates perspective and makes it look like their eyes are hooking out of their face. One side of the face is going to be much more prominent, lean into it.
