depends on where you are currently at. If you have never copied a drawing properly, you'll want to do that first. You need to know how to copy, so you can really understand what things look like in detail. You're wasting your time if you don't. People frequently copy stuff here in ASG thread, try doing what they do.

Once you do know how to copy properly, construction can be learned through using reference (again). This time, you'll be basically just making up proportions that might be useful for your process, and testing them out. You're "working through it", over and over again to memorize a method, and practicing different ways of doing things until you've got something that sorta works.

That's not everything, but it should be enough to start you. Oh and look up "drawing body reference", you should find something that breaks it down into heads, which is the meta for drawing bodies. It ain't easy tho, there is a whole lot to discover. I recommend spending a lot of time in the mirror looking at your body.
