if you can find an autist's entire gallery online and browse the subject matter, you will find a LOT of the same thing over and over, sometimes posed differently, or EVERYTHING is in one particular basic childish style and it doesn't fit the content. picrel, this is autismo.

Deviantart is also filled with great artists and when you say "that looks deviant-art tier" we all know what you mean.
The point is that everyone understands what he is trying to say even if we know that almost all good artists have a tumblr blog.
Also I'm fucking surprised and jelly everytime I see soo fucking many western artist today on twitter that draw some really fine anime/manga style illustations.
I don't really understand what world does OP live in.
Maybe he is trying to comfort himself with "Obviusly I can't draw anime because I don't have superior nipon blood"
instead of working hard for 5+ years to get good.
