Yeah, it's a long story and I'm sure you'll come across it on /ic/ somedayif you ask around. Anyways, I found the guy for you. I couldn't find the exact pic I had in mind, but this is close enough. His mechanical design sensibilities remind me of what you did and I know I've seen it from other artists in the past trying to replicate his style or whoever "started" it.

Not really. I don't keep up with this stuff anymore. What I think is good and bad is irrelevant. My original post was just me talking shit.
