im going to share a page from my sketchbook 3 months back to illustrate a point.
I just finished drawing a giant robot head, and then did a Katsuya Terada study that looked fucking awful. At this point, I have two choices:
1. Draw another giant robot that will look cool and make me feel good, but learn nothing
2. Analyze what I fucked up, how to fix it, and redo it, and hopefully learn something
I guarantee you one day you'll look back at the drawings you did on the right and cringe at the turgid lines and hatching the same way you cringe at your Loomis drawings now - as long as you confront your own weaknesses and keep moving forwards and improving.

tl;dr: its going to get a lot worse before it gets better, keep going
