Fuck i feel like i am going crazy

My Photoshop brush somehow is changing the way it "works" and i haven't touched any of the brush settings at all. It suddenly just starts to blend 100% better i don't have clue why. Maybe it's just the schizophrenia setting in.

i have found a solution to a problem in photoshop that has annoyed the shit out of me for years. it probably doesn't deserve its own thread, and many of you are probably aware of it anyway, but i feel the urge to share it anyway because i'm so happy i found it and i want other anons to know the same joy.

>download the script linked in that post, save it as a jsx file
>in photoshop, go to window > actions, create new action, set the function key to some combination you'll remember
>while it's recording, go to file > scripts > browse, open the jsx file you downloaded/saved, let it execute
>stop recording
>go to your tablet prefs and reassign the button you have set for undoing to the key combination you set earlier
>now photoshop won't change the fucking layer when you undo after laying down a stroke in a new layer
