I have to create an art club for 4 foreign students who are all older than me.

What approach should I take? Please help, my job is on the line. My boss said strictly teaching them art isn't the best idea but I have no idea what else to do. Asking them is not an option I need a plan.

Pic is just a reference I have nothing to post with this.

If I paint something from reference (like pic related), can I then put it on my Deviantart or will it be considered stealing? Will I have to disclose that it's from reference? I'd rather not, I like to upload with just single word descriptions.
