Does the greater trochanter of the femur represent a visible spot on the body? Hampton says it is a landmark so I imagine it marks a very visible point on the body. Yet I'm not sure I'm able to see it. I looked up some skelly-body superposition photos and it seems it's only visible in select angles and on men typically. The rest of his landmarks are highly visible in most angles which is why I'm confused on the trochanter.
