The words get the feeling of sloppiness when you combine the comic sans and with the uncapitalized words. You say you discarded it on purpose but even in that pic you have letters capitalized, if you're gonna commit to it being casual, make every letter not capitalized. Another thing about the "casual" dialogues, I think if you remove the speech bubbles but keep the colored texts. Pic related feels more of what you're going for than the rest.
