This is the most incoherent set of rambling I've read on this board in a long time. Every substance affects people in small variations for the most part, but for some it's a large scale difference.
>"Ignore all sociology"
The fuck are you talking about? Ignore how observational science understands human cultures? Do you know what symbolism is? Do you know what representational art is? Both of those are influenced, based, and contribute to sociology as a whole.

>>2778435 has a nugget of truth to it; it will not make you creative; a creative person will be creative wether they have some psychoactive chemical in them or not. On the topic of productivity; for myself and a few others, marijuana (depending on the strain) allows me to disconnect and view my thoughts objectively, and in many cases has been a great helping hand in moving through some tough times. As for ambition, I also find that I work harder/ better while high (again, with certain strains). However it should be noted that the ambition noted in this post may be referring to RELYING on a substance (though that is true for ANY substance), because relying on anything as a crutch will inevitably stunt or halt progress, or even promote the half of all effort all together.

If all this is trolling, you guys get 9/10, made me write a novel
