I don't know. I feel like those people already have a bias hatred towards anything resembling anime, even if it isn't anime. It's the mainstream approach. They hate anything that doesn't aim for a more abstract, intentionally poorly drawn approach.
I know that because I interact with those type of people. People that make shitty drawn zines but get praise from every artsy person because it is so "original" and "thought provoking". I'm probably too dumb to see what others see in that type of work.

The people that would probably shit on stuff like Moebius.
I like what I do, and I'm trying to improve on what I'm already doing, not worried about changing styles.
