Only thing I'd say is the objects base color (shrooms, pants, etc.) being unaffected by the environment/lighting doesn't look very good. Besides that the dithering is very appealing.

Just embrace it, imagine it's the same way an amateur actor feels playing a corny character.
As long as you do it well, and are honest (not acting "ironic" to hide your embarrassment) people are gonna like it.
