Everytime I tried something like this it didn't end up that shitty, but it was shitty anyway and I think it had to do with colors.

Since a lot of japanese folks do work like this I assume there's some kind of japanese book about digital paiting that I don't know of. If someone could recommend me something I'd be grateful. (western books are ok as well)
