Alright.

If you want to study forms then you really can't be using this visual approach, because you've flattened things out too much and you're neglecting the actual study.

Let me give you an example. It will be one of the simplest ones on here, but you can use it for the rest.

Look at the left (goblin's right) hand. Do you see the knuckle line? Do you see how as the fingers turn there is a separation of light and dark moving diagonally?

I've done a terrible redline job in mspaint to show you the separations between lights and darks. I have also unified the main diagonal with the hilt, because although it's somewhat light due to the reflected light, it's still in shadow along with rest of the knuckles.

This is a form study. This is what you want to do.

Your hand, by comparison, is completely flat and devoid of any form. It's pure silhouette.

Take this, and literally apply it to rest of the study. Every single fucking thing on that goblin has a light and dark pattern and you should start there, and then refine into finer details later on.
