I see, I'll still try to use the grip for 15 minutes each day but if I end up still disliking it I'll just keep in mind the shoulder movements.
Do you have any answers to the other part of my question? The book mentions the benefits of the overhand grip and emphasizes better control of the line sharpness and the "graining" technique or whatever (picrel). Is it possible to emulate that on a tablet? I don't think you can do that without a gyro inside the pen.
