I don't want to put my name with these paintovers as they are just something I do on the side for the fun of trying to solve problems and to help people out, not for any recognition. And while a lot of them people find helpful, every now and then I get attacked for them, so don't want my actual name with it. I'm sure I've given out some bad advice by accident at points on these too, since I've done literally hundreds of them. You can see from the filename how high it is, and not all are numbered, and this is just for ones I did on this computer.

This looks really dope. I couldn't help but doodle on top a bit. I think you can focus on getting a clearer value read on the whole thing, and really try to control and understand the light sources and colour temperatures. I think the fires would be a lot warmer and there would be more warm ambient light in the background. Google for images of cities on fire at night and you will see it is actually much more extreme than I even painted over since they tend to kick up a lot of smoke too which then diffuses all that warm light everywhere. I also don't like how you lit the scene with the glow from her hand, maybe either downplay it like I did (instead I used the moonlight more), or maybe you can try to make the colour of it a bit stronger green instead of that pale whitish colour, and you can push how it lights the scene too in a more interesting way. Up to you on how to handle it.

I also think you should spend some time designing whatever she is holding in her other hand. A lot of the composition is focused on that since the shape is against the background, so make it right. I just put in some generic scepter but you can do better.

I know you want to detail this out all blingy, but it's a night time image and in this case I think the mood of the piece in more important, so don't go putting details in areas where they wouldn't really be visible.
