Compared and relative to what most people usually did I genuinely thought everyone did great. Sure a lot of stuff wasn't "great" in the sense that you'd print it and hang it on a wall, but most people worked hard on their submissions and made work that showed their improvement. You have to look at someone's work comparatively to themselves, not others. At least that's what I tend to do.

For future reference feel free to send me a dm on discord! What are you looking to study, anon? Found some old work from 4 years ago, when I first started posting on original LAS. (I think the Froggies and old man might be 5.) I think there's two things that single-handedly helped me the most. Doing cast studies with charcoal and drawing inside my forms (I highly recommend using blue or red when sketching). Leaving my comfort zone also helped me immensely. Till about two years ago I almost exclusively painted dragons and creatures from imagination when not doing studies from life. Stopping that and expanding the things I drew helped my draftsmanship a lot.
