>Creativity is fun and engaging precisely because it involves the mind fully
lol.
this touches upon one fundamental mistake people make when it comes to thinking about AI. you think that because AI takes away some of your decisions, you have no more decisions to make, no more creativity to spend.

newsflash for you:
your mind being fully engaged does not actually mean your mind covers everything that can be covered in terms of creative decisionmaking.
this means that even if the AI makes major decisions for you, your mind will still be engaged to its fullest anyway. because there is just a lot to think about.

very simple example that even begs can understand:
>a beg that does not understand anatomy will have their entire mind occupied by trying to make sense of figures.
>let's say that an AI fills that gap of anatomy for the artist.
>then the artist would still be left with all the other fundamentals that he can occupy his mind with, as well as other things.
you will never run out of things to focus on.

at the very least, this dispells your argument that AI can't be "fun and engaging".
(although currently AI isn't yet integrated in a way that is easy to use, but we're getting there.)

artists need to stop obsessing over what "tech bros" will do with AI and instead start figuring out what artists can do with AI.
