>how do you think your art progress is going?
I think I've started to enjoy learning (and drawing) a lot more as I started to seriously aim at an art career, I now feel like I have some structure and grinding 4-10 hours daily has improved my perception quite a lot

>do you think your daily drawing is making a real difference, or do you wonder if daily drawing has become a hinderance?
Personally, daily drawing was a hindrance when it was aimed to be posted on dad. When I took a break from dad I found that I was a lot more comfortable working on things that I sucked at, but drawing daily was a habit that I wouldn't have picked up without dad. I never really got any constructive feedback on dad, and the only comments were compliments which only give you false sense of accomplishment.

>are you achieving your goals and moving at a pace you're happy with or are you content where you are right now?
I might have made a stupid autistic deal with myself when the year started, my options now are either making it in the next year and a half, or just simply ending myself if I can't do that.
I just figured out that I might as well dedicated all of my free time and dedication to this one thing I enjoy doing and see if that gets me anywhere before actually calling it quits.
My current pace might not be enough though, but I guess we'll see, I'm content that I'm giving all I can at the moment.

I think challenges have helped me quite a lot, but I do them without submitting, I think the Frazetta one was the most helpful.
