Thank you for the lengthy paragraph about how you're a mind-reader, anon, but you suck at it.

What I need the most is a website where I can casually post - like on Twatter - but not have it hidden behind a wall, so I can send it around to people personally. A nice gallery is also important, but it's a close second.
I already have a website with just my art compiled in galleries, the biggest two problems being that it's not very flexible with unconventional formats (long/wide pics) and me having to edit the website every time I want to post something new. Twitter's "plug and post" mechanic is its strongest point. It's also got a storage limit, so I don't put every single doodle in there.

Newgrounds is not a place to dump content, you have to be selective as well.
Pixiv is locked for outsiders, nil.
DA allows you to post whatever garbage you want in theory, but it's still too stiff in its approach. You either post art through a lengthy form or a journal with embedded Sta.sh pictures, which takes a lot of space if all you want is to post a WIP/question for others. Furaffinity is for furry coomers and similar to DA, although its interface being old might make the posting process less cumbersome.

Anon's >>6760699 suggestion of Itaku is the best balance IMO opinion, but it's been overtaken by furries. Might still give it a whirl.

After discussing this with a few people, I've been considering T*mblr, despite its terrible media compatibility and abysmal search. It's also terrible at organizing stuff, akin to Twitter.
Wish a hybrid between Twitter and DA existed. DA could have created that, but it took too long to try and copy social media, only to do it in the worst way possible.

(Yes, having visibility/discoverability would be nice too, but mostly I'm looking for a platform that allows me to show my content to people in a convenient way, both new and old material, both important and inconsequential material. I've got a job already, thank you.)
