No opinion on screen tablets. However, in my recent experience with my personal tragedy the XP-Pen Gen 2 (wasted potential) and the comically squeaky Deco Pro 01 v2 I would disagree with the "equal quality" statement-and the Inspiroy Giano is just short of a perfect imitation as well. That said, Wacom has rested on their laurels too long, the gap is perhaps closing bit by bit and I hope the traction that a post like this can get-regardless of the voracity of the claim being made-is making them sweat a bit because that pressure will ultimately work in the consumer's favor. The aforementioned Huion Inspiroy Giano in particular is a very decent tablet at a very good price, its sole issue I experienced regarding its higher initial activation pressure is a mostly marginal one. It is an Intuos Large facsimile at a little over a third of the price of a new Pro.

I can't criticize XP-Pen or Huion for not being able to 100% outright beat Wacom at this time, because frankly the Wacom of today can't beat the Wacom of the past either. Since the Intuos 4-which is functionally and ergonomically almost identical to its descendants in every way that matters-Wacom has spent more or less that entire time researching ways to make their tablets less durable with sandpaper tablet surface texture and chalk-tier nibs instead of advancing the format in a meaningful way.
