I'd actually like to make poem illustrations. I was running through ideas in my head today. I'm not cheap, but I'm skilled, communicative, timely, and totally interested. How do you want to contact?

I've posted pic related, admittedly looking forward to some good responses. I got zero too. Whatever, it's kind of a toxic ego thing if you care about that. It feels great to hear you did a good job, and that will never change, and there's NOTHING toxic about that.

However, I came to people with a purpose. I challenged myself to draw something that was difficult for me, and it looked kind of crappy, and I presented it to them because it was riddled with flaws. I asked for critiques, and I said "specifically with my gestures." Got a full response from generous people.

Point being: Give people a specific question, not just a picture by itself. It's vague and nobody will be inspired to say anything about it. If you give them something to answer, they will engage you, and it will be satisfying, and you will learn from it if your question is genuine.

And you should respond to people's questions.

Live model. Bunch of sweet, shy old people drawing. They were really fascinated with the ipad I was drawing with. (Yeah, douche alert haha)
