It's like saying we shouldn't outlaw harmful chemicals because companies use them in products they sell or that heavy and dangerous drugs shouldn't be regulated because pharmaceutical companies make a living off of it.

What is it with porn that everyone just wants it out in the open, easy accessible for everyone and without the slightest moderation and always dies on that hill when it is already the case right now hence why people are noticing what unfiltered porn consumption is doing in the current internet era?
Pornographers and its consumers constant attempts to gaslight is pathetic and obvious as fuck and i doubt they will receive any support against any sort of ban or censorship from reasonable people or lawmakers.

If you really want to have a legit business, you should want regulation that make it difficult for bad actors to exploit you or screw over your business.
