That's cool though. Even if those programs expire by the time I really get started, it's good to know that those kinds of things are being offered.

It feels like a more attainable thing to reach for than something like "becoming a western manga-ka." Not that I think that's impossible, it's just highly improbable.

When I was way younger there was zero information on how to get into comics and the difference between then and now where I'm approaching a time where I can make an attempt at it is night and day.

I'm reminded of Le Sean who did something similar in Korea. You could definitely say he "made it" but it took him like a decade.
