There's leeway just like in humans.
Horizontal proportion works. You look at Illyasviel, up to six heads tall with a small waist and long legs. She could be JK but slim shoulders and torso makes her a spindly JC.
You push that hourglass to add curves and end up with a draph like Narmaya.
