It's supposed to be a short story (~15 pages) of the genesis of a new species. The protag is the first, and them waking up is supposed to signify the birth of this new species. The tree could represent a mix between the tree of knowledge (adam/eve) and the thing that gave birth to the protag. I probably should draw it more majestically based on this... But you know, can't draw... In the story I wish to pose a dilemma for the protag: they must choose between being confined within close proximity of the tree, which is comfortable but limiting, or leave to explore the unknown (what is beyond the tall grass). It's edgy and all but I like these kinds of things so I'm giving it a try
