It may be important but it really should come naturally and not be forced (As in, don't fucking draw the entire Harry Potter franchise as muslims or something, it doesn't make sense with the way they're named).
Good stories with more than a single character are made with diverse casts, not in the SJW "Include every color" sense, but in the "Everyone has had different life experiences and their personality/circumstances are a result of these experiences". Color can play a role in that if you want to make a statement about it, or it can be coincidental. But centering everything around it is cheap and retarded.

This is wrong.
What industry? The concept art industry? AAA games and blockbusters aren't dominated with "people of color", but they sell as well as ever. Same goes for illustrations. The freelance industry? Sakimichan rarely draws brown people but she seems to be doing pretty well. Same for most top patreon artists. The comics trying to force diversity @Marvel by making every other character black or a trans for no reason, are actually on a downward slope, if you look at the numbers.
So, no, people welcome some degree of diversity, but they're not asking for it as you seem to imply, because there's something they rightly appreciate more before even thinking about race or identities: Competence. Someone will enjoy a well written character, a well made game or movie not because it's diverse, but because it had thought and effort put into it. And I'd rather have society reflect on that rather than blank, two dimensional cardboard cutouts representing all the different ethnicities and genders on the planet.

Don't pay attention to the neo-marxists fucks trying to politicize your drawings, don't let any of their bullshit get to you. Really.
And draw what you want to draw. It must come from a honest place of desire, anon, otherwise you won't find pleasure in it. If you follow trending things you will attract more followers, it will make up for the potential loss of wymyn loving tumblrinas who want you to draw what they want you to draw.

"How to Draw"? Yes it can be pretty tedious. Once you finish it and practice a little you should understand the basics of how to do grids and how to construct buildings or vehicles in perspective. I'm just out of /beg/ but even I can understand how much help this book is if you're any interested in making backgrounds, comics, or draw characters in any setting, really. It's full of things to memorize but it's conveyed well through the exercises. Try doing one exercise a day, maybe?
If you don't give up now and work for a few hours every day with books or precise guidelines to lead you, you will see progress quicker than by any other means, I promise (the baseline here is to have a precise of idea of what to do- that's why artbooks are so great, they are full of related informations and methods to learn them efficiently). You're in the boring part of learning how to do art, I know, because everything you do doesn't end up looking great. You've got to find happiness in the little things you achieve: a curve or a line that looks good, a drawing with correct construction and perspective, something that ends up looking more decent that usual,...

Anon it's really nice of you to ask yourself these questions, it's really a great reaction to have most of the time. But really, when you read something with buzzwords such as "male gaze", "hypersexualization", "empowering",... Directed at men in general, you can just stop reading and start doing something else. It's a better use of your time.
Because these people aren't even worth your time. They want you to believe they are, but they just aren't. This facebook post you linked is an attention seeking screech that should be entirely disregarded. If you want to sell art yourself don't try to appeal to this crowd, it's composed of the most entitled, spoiled self-pitying specialists who want everything to cater to them just because they exist. It's an infinite rabbit hole in which you can never be right and a can of worms you don't want to open.

Learn to render. That's all there's to her drawings. Scott Robertson's "How to render" would be a great start once you've mastered the basics (Loomis, Robertson's how to draw, etc...).
There's certainly more books/resources you could find on the Artbook Thread.
For the love of god, don't put a cent in her tutorials. You can learn this shit for free and more efficiently through books and experimentation. Also, if you ever get good at it, please apply your technique to actually decent anatomy and composition.

I think if you're looking for the best performance you're better off buying an Intel core if you have the appropriate motherboard, their prices is roughly equal and you will get a better experience.
I'm using a Ryzen 5 1600X with a GTX 1080 and it works fine without much delays but you'll get better results and ~10%/20% faster loadings with an Intel core. Ryzen chips are always multi core but PS is a single threaded program so it doesn't benefit much from it.
