I think im a little confused about what the pencil is for, and totally confused about how long the process of creating an image should take.

im starting to see this, because im starting to get fucking bored with the way i draw. i did this drawing (not even accurately, i know) and do drawings like this in a single pass and afterwards stare it it thinking 'holy shit i cannot imagine anything else i can do to improve it.' and thats that. i feel empty inside and move onto the next one.

i see guides like >>3010187 and see the way they initially set down lines with the pencil in a specific purpose and allow for space for refinements down the path. And i feel totally retarded. /blog
