longtime very casual beg here. I want to be doing a lot of charcoal sketches to work on my light/dark and whatever the words are for "getting things in the right place". Not concerned with making finished pieces necessarily.

Anyone have suggestions on where to look? I sometimes spend more time just thinking of what to image google search for.

Took some screenshots from The Lighthouse that are great, but either the heaviness of the movie or something about the images makes me want to take a break. If you want me to post one or two I can do that, they've got great contrast if you're studying with b&w.
...That could also be my brain making an excuse for how I'm unenthusiastic about sinking into the details, something I know I should work on. Like I see all the things that need work in this but it makes me groan and fatigued to actually work on it.

btw how do I stop being like that, I'm sure it's a thing many people battle. Advice very welcome because I know that holds me back.
