I won't argue about the
>wrongly think
because like you said >>3027798 I know how I was thinking back then, what I was good at, in what I was lacking and what later realization helped me push thru (hint hint >>3026425)

but I would like to argue about something else

for your first argument, I would like to add that memory is more important in drawing from imagination than perspective, while construction and proportions are kind of mixed in memory

for perspective all you need to know is what part of the object you see / where is in relation to the point of view
>its bottom, top, right, bottom left / under, over, on my left, on top left etc
everything else is remembering (memory) how those objects look from those angles

for constructions and proportions, again, if you remember (memory again) stuff such as
>is twice longer than wider/ is about 1.5 thicker here than here/ next to this muscles is this other muscles, which when one flex, the other relaxes etc
most of the work is done

for you second argument, yes, all kind of memory, I didn't mention visual memory to refer to it alone, this one actually plays a part just in getting ideas and playing with your composition. Texture, how it behaves, how it reacts to environment (light, water etc) how it affects the environment, all those can be memorized and will help your imagination drawing feel more alive, more real

How do you achieve that nostalgia feeling when making art?
You know that cloudy distant feeling when watching a picture.
Are there certain elements that create this feeling? For me the most obvious is the gray-blue colors atleast for me it reminds me of winter.
Also post your chill/nostalgic art pics.
