Don't get me wrong, so do I, but there's something off about some of his eyes that goes beyond looking derpy.

I personally like the way this is done, even if it appears to be a pretty quick sketch with some paint thrown on. But I do agree that Alke has supreme lighting, but he mostly draws toddler bodies without a lot of features.

I do like his paintings more than his lineart, but it's not like I don't like his current style too. I even translated some of his stuff a while back.
