Art is not a subject in which you get better at 'faster'. Do you really want to get good within one year? Then go onto warosu.org and download the FZD school notes. FZD requires that you own a tablet (intuos m pro btw), do all the homework and exercises that Iris has recorded and learn photoshop. You'll notice that they skip a lot of the fundamentals like posing and gesture because you won't have the time to get good at them.

If you grind for one year on art for 16 hours a day and also learn 3D through sketchup and also photobash etc and follow the FZD curriculum you will get good.

My weibo account was recently banned. According to reddit no overseas account has been able to log in for months. There was a concept artist I saw who was confused about it because now they can't access all the refs and tutorials.

Um, I think that some artists like Rei_17 also got banned off Weibo because it also says her account is abnormal.

The trick is to find the reference you need. Lots of characters look similar so find a character that looks similar or use pinterest to find one. Maybe you'll find an exact ref. if not, you'll need one ref for lighting, one ref for posing etc. shoes, well find a shoe or a sketch of one that matches the angle or use your own shoes. You should be collecting loads of refs. A lot of the pros are pro because they hire models for shooting or have stacks of refs or even buy them or they make their own with 3d modelling. If it's anime or something 2d you can get away with imagination but if it's realism get a ref or die basically.

Wlop records all of the processes making things very easy. They also use 3D (Sketchup and Blender) so it's also important to learn on top of strong fundies

I never buy courses and I realised then that I never even bothered watching or downloading courses and the only things that I was actually interested in was getting anime/manga semirealistic/environment 3d to paintover process videos and character rendering vids from a handful of artists and extremely niche/meme stuff like Jama's epik blender 3d panoramas so I never logged in since. Getting tokens is a huge pain over there and it's also more of a group buy site for real professional artists, not for hobbyists who aren't about to drop 100 bucks groupbuying some 500 hour course on some advanced algorithmic cutting edge AI super realistic smoke visualisation on some niche 5000 USD subscription 3d program that I have never even heard of.

If there's anything I've learned, I don't think I'll ever truly become a pro.
