I've never really done character concept sketches before, but it was fun coming up with a look, and thinking of clothing design etc...

I wanted a slightly military look. He's weathered and kinda tired of the long drives out to the geothermal fields, but his female colleague (which I haven't drawn yet) is very fascinated by the whole thing.
