its true, KJG specifically stated that the EXACT program you need to do and which he practiced on was Irshad's DAB

He even explicitly stated that if you do the original course DAB is based on, Dynamic Sketching with Peter Han, that you'll see absolutely no improvement whatsoever

this is an amazing list but telling someone to go watch anime rather than drawing is terrible advice lol, they shouldnt need to watch 9 movies in order to do studies of artstyles (even if theyre amazing movies)

1. always have a goal in mind you want to learn (unless you're doing it just 4fun), plan around that
(e.g. do value studies in monochrome w/ flat round and limited palette, try to break down major planes + shadows etc.)
2. try to deconstruct what's going on in the painting/photo you're studying from
(e.g. you could colorpick the hair shadows here but instead i used a round opacity w/ a desaturated blue to try to get the same effect)
3. don't do too many/remember to make original pieces or youll get stuck in the rut of everything else you make looking terrible like me

(personal pref: i only use round flat + round opacity and 1-2 layers, you might need textured brushes or multiple layers to get some effects)

How much better is the 22R than the 22E?

The only differences i see using the compare tool on XP Pen's website are better color resolution, 60o pen tilt, and more USB ports.

is that really worth $699 vs the $359 for the 22E, or am I missing something?
