Does anyone here have a set routine on how they practice in-between finished pieces?

what is your study schedule? what are you working on at the moment? how long do you generally work for? do you block your time out or just draw and try to incorporate the different things you need to work on? are you following any specific curriculum or courses? how are you improving, anon?

You should probally make a promise to yourself. Ex: "I'll read one chapter of this art book" "Ill sketch for 20 minutes" and slowly increase the time over the days. You could also say 'ill sketch for ten minutes' then get into a groove and not stop

What do you think about this schedule? I started following recently and I'm starting to enjoy having some kind of routine and discipline to get better with art. Do you have a routine like this one? Also: English is not my first language and I don't understand what "work cram" is. Is it like commision work or something like that? I would be so thankful if someone could explain.

Well you are not bad - you dug into the basics. And you seem to draw daily. But drawing is just such a complex thing - saying 'keep at it and you'll get better" is a blatant lie. No one can promise you that you will make it.

The only positive thing I can tell you is that a lot is in your own hands - how dedicated are you afterall?

I don't know how disciplined you are - I don't know how old you are - I don't know how talented you are - I have no fucking clue who you are - and where you are in life.

But I want you to know that drinking, shitposting and arguing with cunts on the other side of the world will not help you to achieve your dreams. And to get back to our original argument - taking critism is a big part of the journey.

I attached David Rapozzas timeplan from the time he ' got gud'. I'm not even sure it's a meme or if it's true. But that's dedication. Do half of that and you are on a good path. Or don't... only you know how much you want it. - Man I'm not a professional either - I'm just some cunt on the other side of the world.

Please don't drink so much anon - I know it's a comforting thing - but long term it will ruin you.

I'm trying to figure out a study routine for the 8-12 hour a day grind and I'm having a hard time finding whats important to study and what's not. Post your schedule and your career goal end goal.

Are you guys NEETs or have a really shitty job? Don't you care about school? Do you use drugs?

How the fuck do you manage to have a schedule like this to get good at drawing? I'm studying Uni and I'm lucky to have 2 hours of spare time a day.

I cant follow my 4-8hr drawing schedule

>1hr anatomy study: from books, imagination, or reference

>1hr30min photo study: landscapes preferred.

>30 min fundamentals: perspective, basic shapes, and values

>1hr animate

>5hr work cram

My schedule is based on pic posted. Im thinking of rearranging it and saving my favorite subject, anatomy, second to last. Would this be a good idea for a beginner?

What is your schedule, and how do you follow it?
