Tfw havent drawn in 3 days

>draw figure
>proportions are all wrong, pick one thing to correct
>decide to narrow shoulders with lasso and transform tool
>everything looks ok, make new layer and draw over
>realize torso is too long
>make torso shorter with lasso and transform tool
>everything looks ok
>new layer, draw the figure all over... again
>realize head is too big
>shrink head with lasso and transform tool
>everything looks right, redraw everything... again again
>realize shoulders are too wide...
>repeat 100 times to complete a single sketch in the time it takes a normal artist to produce 5 elaborately colored and extremely detailed drawings with backgrounds

It's been months of this. Months of banging my head against a wall. This drawing thing isn't for me, guys. I'm thinking creative writing is more my speed.

I can't even do one without overwhelming myself. Every gesture study video lecture Ive watched, I am fighting back angry tears by the second round of exercises because all I am doing is making helpless scribbles that don't even look like the model I'm supposed to be drawing, so I just go back to rote copying shitty anime that at least makes me feel good. And I won't even bother to describe how miserable anatomy study makes me.

it's not fair, you either go all-in and make no money as a pro artist, or you make a lot of money and it takes a lot longer to get to where you want to be
