I can't really accurately summarise what it is exactly. I just love her style. It probably mostly comes down to texture and her work can look very "free" in a sense that she's not interested solely in accuracy. But a big part of why her style is good is it fits the types of stories she likes to tell. I do think it benefits more from trad too, the move to digital felt like a step down.

It's very cool and definitely sends a message on what type of person the artist is. The only downside is it probably wouldn't mesh well with the stories I would like to tell because it feels too gritty so the challenge would be to find some middle ground but as the anon above said, doing that would be disappointing.
