Hi everyone, absolute beginner here. The first book I've decided to go through is Michael Hampton's "Figure Drawing - Design and Invention." Has anyone here gone through this book? I've been reading through it and there's pages full of gestures. Do I try to copy them while keeping in mind, the artistic process of creating them or do I try to make new gestures while applying what I learned?
