Really goes against the myth that the "asian art community doesn't have drama". I think with japanese artists when the drama gets too much, they just delete their accounts.

Why would you paint over another popular artist's art for a commission so high profile that it will be seen by thousands of people? Someone will eventually notice the similarity. Even if she decided to "steal" the same concept, she could have just photobashed a picture of a random japanese street from pinterest or flickr.

Then she could have claimed implausibility to any art theft accusations. I thought these Asians were smarter than this.
