I don't paint but my advice would be to copy a 3D model of the Asaro head and learn the basic planes of the face. I use a cell phone app called Handy (for Android) that gives you posable hand and feet references and a bunch of planar and realistic heads and skulls. It's a paid for app but it's worth it.

I'll clear this out a little bit more - you had established the side and bottom plane of nose, and bottom plane of brow ridge, but there is a lot more to it. Nose is way more complex 3D shape sticking forward from the general front plane of the face. We can divide it to a few more planes than front, two sides and a bottom.

After learning to construct all these forms (there are few examples for constructing eyes in the pic I posted just before), you can render them out more efficiently.

Also check out "Asaro heads" from the internet, it's a great model showing simplified planes of the head. You don't have to spend money on it, but check out pictures of it from different angles.
