I've never read a book from the sticky. I, too, need someone to show me how to do things. I just can't look at a Loomis book and follow it. Basically I've learnt from YouTube then I discovered New Master's Academy, made an account there, and I can say it's the best investment I've made in learning how to draw. I'm still a /beg/ piece of shit, but I'm putting in the time. Courses there are to the tune of 20 - 40 hours each and very in depth.

They don't. You find what works for you and work with that.

I learnt how to do lips today and also fucked around with a black pastel instead of a pencil so that's nice, I guess.
