Right, this is driving me crazy, I cannot find the answer and my brain ain't attuned enough to observe from real life

Assuming it flesh or similar material, if this ball was coloured and on a coloured surface:
Which part of this ball would have the most saturation under regular sunlight or indoor lighting? >The area receiving the most light?
>the terminator because of subsurface scattering tinting the light leaving the surface?
>The shadow because of bounced light of the same colour intensifying the tones?
>the highlight/reflections (not this one because the light is neutral/white, but would this be the case if the light was coloured, sorry to add another question)

This makes me feel really dumb
