I understand friend. The hardest thing is to push through and persevere. But read into what the people in this thread are telling you. Look inward for encouragement, because you cannot at all rely on others for it. Nobody here has been trying to say you won't make gains, just that your approach is wrong (read: attitude)
That drawing with no potential was one of mine. Pic rel is one of my more recent. I still think I am shit, I still get so incredibly discouraged that I can't bring myself to draw. But if you keep drawing you will look back in a few years and see huge gains and THAT will encourage you.

Posted near the end of last thread but its still the most recent thing I've done. I struggle with painting colour so I just resort to flat paint bucket colouring. I also just straight up don't enjoy painting values and layering colours. But I feel like I need to to get to the next level. Any advice boys?

Just finished this. I wanted to go harder on the shading and use it to boost the mood but I despise painting colour and shade. I like the hard edges but I can't commit enough to it to have it be effective. Tried painting the shade but it just looked muddy and shit
