Except that's not the case? I really like anime myself, and anime isn't the only thing I'm talking about, it's just prevalent since it's popular. Floating boxes/anatomy and random low-effort doodles bother me significantly more desu.
Also, I think you could make a painting of anime no problem. Background in pic related is especially relevant. I just want to find a place where people are working on their painting skills specifically. The techniques for painting are actually pretty different than for drawing imo.

Also, I'm not picking a fight with anyone. I'm just looking for a group of people who are also interested in painting styles to study together that's all.
