It depends on what you’re doing. If it’s just pinups or pictures of buildings then yes, the quality of your art is the most important thing. However Questionable Content is one of the longest running, successful webcomics out there and it is, at best, passable. It gets by on its absence of humor, inane characters, and pointless excuse for a plot. But it has waifus—all lesbians—and has been updated pretty regularly for like 20 years.
