How do I build the mental stamina to engage more and try to perfect things further? Especially in a situation where what you're making isn't so well defined. When you're just winging shit without any reference or following any process, how do you figure out when it's 'done'?

For some context, I've been making surrealistic typically high symmetry monochrome stuff like pic related for a bit now, sort of as a therapeutic meme, and while I enjoy doing it I'm kinda struggling on figuring out how to improve or what I even want to do with it moving forward. Also any advice for aiding concentration with drawing, especially when extremely tired, would be welcome.
