While you may not be the most technical artist, your work ethic and efforts are apparent in your comics on top of excellent story-telling filled to the brim with personality. I think people comparing your work to "Chris-chan" are just taking one look at the art and forgetting everything else that makes it good which is honestly really disappointing since your work has so much more to offer.

People can try to justify it as much as they want, but comparing any artist to Chris-chan for whatever reason is still rather insulting especially when people wouldn't be calling you that if you simply drew better.

With this all said, I hope other people failing to understand to appreciate your work doesn't ever deter you from doing what you do. It's rough out here in these streets but the people who love your stuff will continue to love it, and the people who don't, just won't.
