does anyone work exclusively on a single layer? i have a problem where every time i draw a sketch i have several dozen copies of it with various changes i have made to it (i make a copy each time because i'm scared i'll regret it down the line)
that's just sketches, theres still lineart and all the color shit
lineart is my kryptonite, i redo 90% of the strokes i make, several times per stroke. i have been trying to learn other methods of drawing like rendering straight from a sketch, in order to avoid having to do lineart. i'm still completely shit at that too.
i don't know what my endgame is, i have no idea what sort of style i am building towards. drawing is more often stressful than fun when you spend a few days putting off doing it because youre scared to fail, and when you actually do it you're shit.
i think ill just go back to focusing on lineart. the thing is my sketches are always better, so it might be better to just clean my sketches rather than try to do a new lineart layer
pic unrelated, just an old sketch i found
