it's good to keep updating your art pages like deviant art. tumblr, insta and then look back through them can really help to push you for motivation. Are there any drawing groups in your area, start up a drink and draw at a pub with people, the work ethic can really kick in.

the further things are far away try lightening the line art and thinning it, if painting try to desaturate gradually into distance and soften edges.
